Hi, I’m Emma—wedding planner, detail-lover, and the heart behind Dear Darling Weddings & Events. I’ve been dreaming about weddings since I was old enough to make Pinterest boards, and when I planned my own in 2022, I knew I’d found something special. I started this business because I believe your wedding isn’t just a day on the calendar—it’s an experience you and your guests will carry with you for a lifetime. My role is to handle the moving pieces behind the scenes so you can stay present, soaking in the laughter, the joy, and those once-in-a-lifetime moments.
Based in Edmonton, I work closely with every couple to bring their unique vision to life, creating weddings that feel personal, polished, and completely them. I’ll handle the details and logistics so you can focus on what matter most - making memories and maybe shedding a few happy tears along the way! When I’m not planning events, you can find me hanging out with my husband and our fur baby, Winnie.
Speaking of him, this page wouldn't be complete without a shoutout to my incredible husband and business partner, Eli. On wedding days, you’ll often see him making sure everything flows seamlessly behind the scenes—or chatting with your guests and making friends everywhere he goes (he truly is one of the friendliest people you’ll ever meet).
The bottom line is, Dear Darling wouldn’t exist without him, and there’s no one I’d rather share this journey with.
